REACH
The REACH Regulation involves a fundamental reshaping of the former EC legislative framework for chemical substances. REACH is the acronym for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of CHemicals. The REACH Regulation EC No.1907/2006 has been in force since June 1, 2007 and involves a fundamental reshaping of the former EC legislative framework for chemical substances.
robeko GmbH & Co. KG has registered all REACH-relevant substances manufactured by it in the EU and imported into the EU, either as such or in mixtures, with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Substances only need to be registered if they are manufactured in the EU or imported from non-EU countries in quantities of >1 ton per year. We have therefore not registered all substances marketed by robeko GmbH & Co. KG with the ECHA. You will find the registration numbers of robeko GmbH & Co. KG substances in the table below. Additional notification of registration numbers is not required by law. The availability of registration numbers for purchased raw materials is not considered a significant change.
| Substance | CAS No. | REACH registration number |
|---|---|---|
| chrome | 7440-47-3 | in progress |
| titanium | 7440-32-6 | in progress |
The ECHA regularly publishes proposals for identifying chemicals as substances of very high concern (SVHC). The result of this process is a list of identified substances that are candidates for prioritization (the “candidate list”). If substances from the Candidate List are contained in products from robeko GmbH & Co. KG, these are listed as hazardous ingredients in the safety data sheet, including the concentration in the mixture. These substances need only be listed in the MSDS where the concentration is above 0.1% (wt%).
