in-house exhibition & workshop 2023

in-house exhibition & workshop 2023
in-house exhibition & workshop from November 27 to 30, 2023 at robeko GmbH & Co. KG in Mehlingen.

Since our last in-house exhbition in 2017 six long and eventful years have passed. Now, as pandemics, construction work at our company and supply chain issues are mostly behind us, we face new problems and challenges on our planet. Climate crisis, war in Ukraine and Israel, just to name a few.

Our previous events in 2013, 2015 and 2017 have been a great success and huge milestones for robeko. With this year‘s workshop and in-house exhibition we are following up on the earlier ones. The format slightly changed, we joined forces with EFDS to organize an industrial workshop in partnership with the Physics department of RPTU Kaiserslautern. Parallel to this robeko will open it’s doors to exhibit it’s products and services in a comprehensive format.

The highlights of this in-house exhibition:

Interactive product presentations: At the show, you will have the opportunity to experience at first-hand the latest products and innovations from robeko and their partners. See how advanced technologies change and improve the working world.

Workshops: One of the main features of this in-house exhibition is the informative technical trainings and demonstrations. This year, trainings on products such as SCI end blocks and the new RAMbar as well as a live demonstration of the combination of PLASUS EMICON with Ionautics HiPIMS power supplies are the focus. Furthermore, microwave plasma sources will be presented. These trainings offer valuable insights and practical tips.

Networking: An in-house exhibition is not only the place to discover new products and capabilities, but also an opportunity to network with other industry experts, engineers and technology enthusiasts. Discuss your ideas and projects and make valuable contacts.

Possibility to consult: experts for each product will be available during the exhibition on the 4 days to answer your questions and help you choose the best solutions for your individual needs.

Why should you participate?

The in-house exhibition at robeko in Mehlingen offers you the opportunity to gain insight into the future of technology for sputter deposition. You can discover innovative products and solutions, expand your knowledge and make valuable contacts.

The date of the show is fast approaching, so mark your calendar for November 27-30, 2023, and register for free right now HERE.

Our partner SCI has celebrated its 20th anniversary

Our partner SCI pulled as part of their 20th anniversary celebration, the first Sputtering Components prototype end block out of storage and asked founder Dan Crowley (left) to reminisce about how he developed it back in 2001.

What motivated you to design your own end block?

“Working as the lead cathode maintenance technician at a glass manufacturer, I saw the potential of rotary cathodes and wanted to take the existing technology further. I had seen other companies’ attempts at making rotary cathodes work, trying to address the issues they had, and I thought I had better ideas and wanted to prove them out. So, with Barry Nudelman’s financial support and his contact network for selling sputtering targets for his company, Process Materials, I set out on my own”.
